Academic Vocabulary – Fractions
Guide your students through the maze of academic vocabulary. Help them make sense of fractions, by understanding what the words mean!
Knowing what various parts of words mean helps students remember the content they are learning. For example: DE in denominator means ‘down.’
Your students will own the vocabulary of fractions when they study the roots and affixes separately.
